The School Maze

HEY SUPPER PIES ! 

That’s kind of my way of calling my viewers…. Anyway , I am new to this website and I kind of love sharing small and simple experience despite of how interesting it turns out . 

Also , I am 11 by the way ..in 6th standard . I just feel eager to tell my age . Forget the rest , what I am going to share today is what all happened in school..

As I got into the bus -that’s how we go to school . Some students travel by car though .. 

I took a seat that was empty in the bus . My friends were all seated in different places far from me . The girl who was sitting next to me was too  grumpy and quiet! She was not even talking to me . I was getting soo bored . I am pretty talkative and if you ever sit next to me , you might get into trouble .. but whatever I say is meaningful – you will get engrossed in my words.So basically I started my day with getting bored and being quiet for 35 to 40 minutes – that’s the amount of time I take to get to school. 

As I got to school I saw that my partner was absent ! WHAT A BORING DAY ! I felt like god punished me today .. can you imagine how boring it can be for a talkative girl to stay quiet for the whole 6 hours !- that’s the time limit of school . I had no partner , no one to talk to and all the boring classes today .. 

our physics class started . I personally like physics – a lot . But maybe its because of the topic which I could not understand,  that got me to NOT like that class .It was such a sleepy class .. And I could not understand anything that the teacher said . Also I was in the first bench so I could not even put my head down or talk to anyone cause my partner was absent . I was soo unlucky today . 

But soon I got something bit interesting to do . Let me explain . Some of the teachers were absent today and that’s why we got some free periods . Suddenly in those periods I noticed that one girl was not in class .. she sits just 2 benches behind me . I quickly reported to the teacher . The teacher sent me to go and find her with some other students .

I was super happy to get out of that boring class and do some other work .

It was pretty strange that a student could actually go missing .. INSIDE SCHOOL ! .. I first checked in the common areas . I entered the  canteen first . She was NOT THERE ! I mean ,, I really thought she would be there cause she was a real foodie . Her name is Bidisa. Well, there are more common areas other than the cafeteria but its not where Bidisa would be .. I led my path to the auditorium – that’s where we watch movies, perform, conduct assembly ,dance etc . But all these activities occur before class starts and its atypical for some gathering to happen during classes. But as assigned by our teacher , I had to check everywhere. So I went inside the auditorium. The stage was empty – even the janitors were not there . It was totally vacant and I would never expect Bidisa to be there. I still double-checked but she was nowhere to be found. 

I got tired and then I decided to meet the other students who were finding Bidisa. There were 3 to 4 more students with me . But I only got to meet 2 of them – where were the other 2 ? Uhhh! Now I got another job in hand and that was to find the other 2 students . I can’t believe 3 students got lost in school ,,I mean will no teacher seem to notice ?- that is not possible … even if any teacher noticed , I can’t just wander about until I get to the teacher who might have noticed . This was so tiring ! I did not have much ideas to provide to the others so we all took our own paths to find 3 students . 

The next area where Bidisa could be were the labs-geography , physics, chemistry ,  biology.  I checked the chemistry lab first . To my surprise , I caught a janitor singing ! He was cleaning the lab and singing and wiping the windows. No offence but he did not have a very good voice . But it wasn’t my concern to see that . I asked the janitor if he saw Bidisa..I interrupted his singing of course . However his answer to my question was ’NO’ .. WHERE COULD THIS GIRL BE ? Anyway , I left the lab after encouraging the janitor with his singing . I entered the physics lab … and obviously I could not find anyone ! I checked the other labs and no one was there .. 

I left .. and then I remembered that there was a library downstairs ! I went there and guess what ? I FOUND ONE STUDENT ! It was not Bidisa though but it was one of the finders of Bidisa.. I asked her why was she here ? She told me that she was looking for Bidisa but just then she saw her favourite book in the library and she started reading it .. I was so angry ! When I lost control of my temper … I blurted out all the pain and tiredness I was going through while finding her .. how can she sit here and enjoy reading peacefully when I have to roam around trying to find STUDENTS ! It was so not fair … I told her to positively check where another finder and Bidisa could be .

Next I planned to check in the sports room -that’s where we keep the football, cricket bat and ball and other sports items. I honestly don’t expect anyone to be there as it was not PT class-that’s our sports class. I checked by removing the balls, board games etc . But then when I was just about to leave , I saw a cardboard box moving ! I thought that it was some sort of mouse or cat – our principal has a cat . But then I observed that it was shaking vigorously and it could never be done by a cat or a mouse ,, I quickly went there and removed the box ,, To my astonishment , I found another finder of Bidisa … she was playing Ludo under the box ! OH MY GOD !  There’s no reason for this stupidness … she just started playing because she wished to … I mean the idea is cool and you can always pretend to be doing a job while you are actually playing … but wait ? How was she playing Ludo alone ? I asked her my question .. You won’t believe she was just playing cause she wanted to ! 

I was super angry as these students are just escaping from work and having a GREAT time ! I again planned to meet the others and this time all 4 was there .. but no one found Bidisa .. we literally checked the whole school ! The only place that was left was the field .. we all took permission from our teacher who was in class , and went to search in the field . We divided the work among us and started looking for Bidisa as the field was too big . I was searching in the park . Trust me , no one was there . I checked with all my concentration  and eventually gave up and then I went to meet the others .. Fortunately , THEY FOUND BIDISA !  She was behind the goalpost .. I don’t know why she was there but all that I had to know is that we found her .. I was just too happy ! 

We went to  class successfully ! The teacher scolded  the 2 finders and Bidisa for their mischievousness .. but anyways it was a good journey or maybe I should say ‘TREASURE HUNT’…I would like to conclude my encounter here .. will meet you all in the next story !
